Wet Film

One of the things I like the most about film photography is its unpredictable nature… yes, I know it doesn’t have to be like that but I embrace that side… so when I recently get some negatives back with a little note attached saying “Film was wet in canister – sorry!”, I was pretty excited to see what would happen! I’ve put film through a washing machine once before, and loved the effect…swirling purples and swooshes of yellow where the different layers of colour had reacted differently to the 40C wash.

So anyway, this is what happens when the film is slightly wet when sent for processing. I’m not sure how it happened, but I love it!
